Thornburg: Ihlefeld no longer portfolio manager of six municipal funds

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Nov. 12 - Thornburg Funds announced that Christopher Ihlefeld is no longer a co-portfolio manager of the Thornburg Limited Term Municipal Fund, Thornburg Intermediate Municipal Fund, Thornburg Strategic Municipal Income Fund, Thornburg California Limited Term Municipal Fund, Thornburg New Mexico Intermediate Municipal Fund and Thornburg New York Intermediate Municipal Fund. The management change was effective Nov. 8.

According to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Josh Gonze and Christopher Ryon continue to serve as co-portfolio managers for each fund.

Santa Fe, N.M.-based Thornburg Investment Management, Inc. is the investment adviser to the funds.
