Texas Transportation to redeem its 2002 Central Texas Turnpike bonds

Norfolk, Va., Feb. 10 – The Texas Transportation Commission plans to redeem its Central Texas Turnpike System series 2002 subordinate-lien revenue bonds (Tifia – No. 2001-001) due July 15, 2042, according to a notice.

The 5.51% bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Feb. 15 for a total redemption price of $1,137,542,104.03.
