Texas Transportation to redeem its 2002-A, 2012-B turnpike bonds

Norfolk, Va., Feb. 9 – The Texas Transportation Commission will redeem $154,658,891 of its series 2002-A first tier revenue bonds and $225 million of 2012-B first tier revenue refunding put bonds issued for the Central Texas Turnpike System, according to two notices.

The following 2002-A bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on March 6:

• $2,573,200 of 6% bonds due Aug. 15, 2025;

• $2,419,900 of 6.01% bonds due Aug. 15, 2026;

• $2,275,200 of 6.02% bonds due Aug. 15, 2027;

• $2,138,800 of 6.03% bonds due Aug. 15, 2028;

• $2,010,200 of 6.04% bonds due Aug. 15, 2029;

• $1,888,900 of 6.05% bonds due Aug. 15, 2030;

• $20,749,511 of 6.06% bonds due Aug. 15, 2031;

• $20,287,006 of 6.07% bonds due Aug. 15, 2032;

• $19,778,829 of 6.08% bonds due Aug. 15, 2033;

• $19,290,312 of 6.08% bonds due Aug. 15, 2034;

• $18,735,808 of 6.09% bonds due Aug. 15, 2035;

• $19,130,494 of 6.09% bonds due Aug. 15, 2036;

• $19,780,106 of 6.1% bonds due Aug. 15, 2037; and

• $3,600,625 of 6.1% bonds due Aug. 15, 2038.

The bonds have a total accredited value of $327,247,452 at redemption.

The 1.25% 2012-B bonds will be mandatorily redeemed on Feb. 15.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee and paying agent.
