University of Texas to sell $250 million Build America Bonds Thursday

New York, Sept. 8 - The Board of Regents of the University of Texas System plans to sell $250 million in series 2009A Build America Bonds for the Texas Permanent University Fund on Thursday, according to a sales calendar.

The bonds (Aaa/AAA/AAA) will be sold through lead manager Barclays Capital Inc. and are due 2039.

Proceeds will be used to refund all of the permanent fund's outstanding commercial paper notes.
