Texas Competitive Electric gets dropped from Markit LCDX series 10-20

By Susanna Moon

Chicago, May 19 - Texas Competitive Electric Holdings Co. LLC will be removed from Markit LCDX series 10 through 20.

New versions of the affected Markit LCDX series are being issued, with an annex date of May 21, according to a notice.

ISDA said on May 15 that an auction would be held on May 21 to settle credit derivative trades for Energy Future Holdings Corp., Texas Competitive, Energy Future Intermediate Holding Co. LLC and EFIH Finance Inc.

The ISDA's Americas credit derivatives determinations committee resolved that a bankruptcy credit event occurred for Energy Future and its subsidiaries, as reported on April 30.

Energy Future Holdings, a Dallas-based power generation company and utility operator, made a pre-packaged Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing on Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Texas Competitive is a Dallas-based energy company.
