Markit CDX indexes drop Energy Future, Texas Competitive Electric

Chicago, May 2 - Markit Group Ltd. said that Energy Future Holdings Corp., Texas Competitive Electric Holdings Co. LLC and related companies will be removed from the Markit CDX indexes.

The companies will be dropped from the indexes after confirmation of bankruptcy credit events by the ISDA Determinations Committee, according to a Markit notice.

The indexes will have an annex date of May 2.
