Texas schedules $7.2 billion tax and revenue anticipation notes sale

New York, Aug. 20 - The State of Texas is set to price $7.2 billion of series 2013 tax and revenue anticipation notes on Aug. 27, according to a notice of sale.

The notes (MIG 1/SP-1+/F1+) will be sold competitively with George K. Baum & Co. as the financial adviser.

The notes are due Aug. 28, 2014.

Proceeds will be used to fulfill operating cash shortfalls during the coming fiscal year.
