Fitch affirms Terra Industries

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the issuer default ratings and outstanding debt ratings of Terra Industries, Inc. and its subsidiaries. The ratings have been removed from Rating Watch evolving.

The outlook is stable.

The actions follow a decision by CF Industries Holdings, Inc. to abandon its efforts to take over Terra, Fitch said.

Although not fully resolved, Fitch said for the immediate future CF Industries' designs on Terra have soured with the appreciation of the latter's share price.
