Tennessee Valley Authority to redeem its 5% electronotes due 2023

Minneapolis, Sept. 16 - Tennessee Valley Authority announced that it will redeem all of its 2008 5% electronotes due Oct. 15, 2023 on Oct. 15.

The authority will pay par plus accrued interest for the $14.5 million of the issue outstanding.

Tennessee Valley Authority is a Knoxville, Tenn.-based electricity provider.
