Tenet gets $250 million letter-of-credit facility; terminates revolver

New York, Jan. 6 - Tenet Healthcare Corp. closed on a new $250 million one-year letter-of-credit facility and terminated its $800 million revolving credit facility, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission Thursday.

Bank of America is administrative agent and letter-of-credit issuing bank, and Citicorp USA Inc. is syndication agent.

The facility closed on Dec. 31.

Tenet Healthcare is a Santa Barbara, Calif., owner and operator of acute care hospitals and related health care services.
