By Rebecca Melvin

Concord, N.H., June 1 – Tenet Healthcare Corp. plans to redeem all of its $1,748,000,000 outstanding 6¾% senior notes due 2023, according to a press release Wednesday.

The redemption will be funded with proceeds from the sale of new notes and is contingent on that sale, together with cash on hand.

Tenet announced a private placement offering of $1.9 billion of new senior secured first-lien notes maturing in 2030.

The owner and operator of acute care hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging centers and related health care facilities is based in Dallas.
