Bank of Ireland buys back portions of series 703,705 Euribor notes

Kansas City, Kan., Sept. 21 - Bank of Ireland made two note repurchases totaling €650 million, according to a notice filed with the London Stock Exchange.

The bank has repurchased €350 million of series 705 Euribor notes due Nov. 11, 2012, which were issued by Bank of Ireland Group member Bank of Ireland Global Markets.

Following the repurchase, effective Sept. 6, €300 million of the 705 notes remain outstanding.

The bank also repurchased €300 million of its series 703 Euribor notes due Nov. 2, 2012.

Following that repurchase, effective Sept. 14, €1.7 billion of the 702 notes remain outstanding.

Bank of Ireland is a Dublin-based retail and commercial bank.
