Palm Beach County School Board, Fla., defeases $71.28 million COPs

Minneapolis, Sept. 18 - The School Board of Palm Beach County, Fla., defeased $71.28 million of its series 2004A certificates of participation, according to a notice.

The following COPs will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Aug. 1, 2014:

• $3.67 million of 4% certificates due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $3.82 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2017;

• $4.01 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2018;

• $4.21 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2019;

• $4.42 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2020;

• $4.64 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2021;

• $4,875,000 of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2022;

• $5,115,000 of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2023;

• $1,075,000 of 4.625% certificates due Aug. 1, 2024;

• $4.3 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2024;

• $1,375,000 of 4.75% certificates due Aug. 1, 2029; and

• $29.77 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2029.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the escrow agent.
