Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kan., defease utility system bonds

Kansas City, Kan., Sept. 6 - The Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kan., defeased a portion of its series 2004-B utility system improvement revenue bonds, according to a notice.

The following bonds will be redeemed on Sept. 1, 2014:

• $1,785,000 of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2015;

• $1,865,000 of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2016;

• $2,195,000 of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2017;

• $2,275,000 of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2018;

• $2.4 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2019;

• $5,115,000 of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2021;

• $2,795,000 of 5% bonds due Sept. 2, 2023;

• $7.82 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2024;

• $8.21 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2025;

• $8.62 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2026;

• $9.05 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2027;

• $9.5 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2028; and

• $43 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2032.
