Alabama Power calls all $200 million 6% senior insured monthly notes

Minneapolis, Sept. 6 - Alabama Power Co. plans to redeem all $200 million of its series 2007C 6% senior insured monthly notes, according to a redemption notice.

The bonds, which are due Oct. 15, 2037, will be redeemed at par plus an applicable premium on Oct. 15.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the agent.
