HealthSouth to redeem 7¼%, 7¾% notes using note offering proceeds

Minneapolis, Sept. 6 - HealthSouth Corp. plans to redeem up to 10% of the outstanding principal balance of its 7¼% senior notes due 2018 and 7¾% senior notes due 2022 with the proceeds from its new senior note offering, according to a press release.

It will also repay amounts on its revolving credit facility.

It will then use the balance of the net proceeds, if any, for general corporate purposes.

HealthSouth is a Birmingham, Ala.-based owner and operator of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals.
