Missouri plans $155.96 million redemption from two G.O bond series

Kansas City, Kan., Aug. 20 - The State of Missouri will redeem two series of general obligation bonds according to a notice. The total amount of bonds redeemed will equal $155,955,000.

The state will redeem its fourth building general obligation refunding bonds, series 2002A, and its water pollution control general obligation refunding bonds, series 2002B.

The bonds will be redeemed on Oct. 1 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The following 2002A bonds are affected:

• $10,295,000 of 3.375% bonds due Oct. 1, 2013;

• $10.72 million of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2014;

• $11,265,000 of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2015;

• $11,835,000 of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2016;

• $12.45 million of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2017;

• $13,095,000 of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2018;

• $13.7 million of 4.125% bonds due Oct. 1, 2019;

• $8.46 million of 4.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2020; and

• $8.83 million of 4.5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2021.

The following 2002B bonds are affected:

• $7.15 million of 3.375% bonds due Oct. 1, 2013;

• $7,465,000 of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2014;

• $7.87 million of 5% bonds due Oct 1, 2015;

• $8.29 million of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2016;

• $8.74 million of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2017;

• $6,445,000 of 5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2018;

• $4,505,000 of 4.125% bonds due Oct. 1, 2019;

• $2.37 million of 4.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2020; and

• $2.47 million of 4.5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2021.

The state said the redemptions are dependent upon the sale of its series 2012A bonds.
