Milwaukee redevelopment authority calls some UWM-Kenilworth bonds

By Marisa Wong

Madison, Wis., Aug. 17 - The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee gave notice that it will redeem $1.91 million of its $65.65 million of outstanding series 2005 redevelopment lease revenue bonds on Sept. 4. The bonds were issued for the UWM-Kenilworth Project.

The variable-rate bonds, which are due Sept. 1, 2040, will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Kenilworth is a City of Milwaukee building that has been converted into a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee facility.
