University of California defeases $525.56 million of two bonds series

Minneapolis, Aug. 10 - The University of California defeased $525,558,000 of its limited project revenue bonds, according to a defeasance notice.

The university defeased the following:

• $457,473,000 of its 2005 series B bonds to be redeemed May 15, 2013; and

• $68.085,000 of its 2007 series D bonds to be redeemed May 15, 2016.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.

The University of California has campuses in Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz.
