King County, Wash., announces defeasance of G.O. sewer revenue bonds

Kansas City, Kan., Aug. 1 - King County, Wash., defeased two series of its bonds, according to defeasance notices.

The defeasance includes series 2004A sewer revenue bonds and series 2005 limited-tax general obligation bonds.

The following bonds are affected:

• $9,465,000 of 4.5% 2004A bonds due Jan. 1, 2026;

• $9,875,000 of 4.5% 2004A bonds due Jan. 1, 2027;

• $10.31 million of 4.5% 2004A bonds due Jan. 1, 2028;

• $10,765,000 of 4.5% 2004A bonds due Jan. 1, 2029;

• $27.45 million of 5% 2004A bonds due Jan. 1, 2035;

• $10.14 million of 5% 2005 bonds due Jan. 1, 2026;

• $10.66 million of 5% 2005 bonds due Jan. 1, 2027;

• $11.21 million of 5% 2005 bonds due Jan. 1, 2028; and

• $11.78 million of 5% 2005 bonds due Jan. 1, 2029.

U.S. Bank, NA is the escrow agent.
