CHS/Community Health calls $294.63 million of 8 7/8% notes due 2015

Minneapolis, July 19 - CHS/Community Health Systems, Inc. called $294,626,000 of its 8 7/8% senior notes due 2015, according to a redemption notice.
The notes will be redeemed at 102.219 plus accrued interest on Aug. 17.
As previously reported, there is currently a tender offer for the notes underway. The consent expiration was 5 p.m. ET on July 17, and the tender offer will expire on 5 p.m. ET on Aug. 1.
As of the consent expiration, holders had tendered $639,705,000 of the notes.
U.S. Bank NA is the trustee.
Community Health is a Nashville-based operator of hospitals.
