Miami-Dade County, Fla., school board defeases series 2003D COPs

Kansas City, Kan., July 18 - The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Fla., defeased $148.85 million of its series 2003D certificates of participation, according to a notice.

The following certificates will be redeemed on Aug. 1, 2013 at par plus accrued interest:

• $585,000 of 3.35% certificates due Aug. 1, 2014;

• $14.94 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2014;

• $1,215,000 of 3.5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $8.03 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $250,000 of 3.6% certificates due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $9.45 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $225,000 of 3.7% certificates due Aug. 1, 2017;

• $5,545,000 of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2017;

• $250,000 of 3.8% certificates due Aug. 1, 2018;

• $5.41 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2018;

• $80,000 of 3.9% certificates due Aug. 1, 2019;

• $6,215,000 of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2019;

• $485,000 of 4% certificates due Aug. 1, 2020;

• $5.8 million of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2020;

• $3,215,000 of 4% certificates due Aug. 1, 2021;

• $11,905,000 of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2021;

• $2.71 million of 4.1% certificates due Aug. 1, 2022;

• $2,795,000 of 4.125% certificates due Aug. 1, 2023; and

• $69,745,000 of 5% certificates due Aug. 1, 2029.
