Arizona Board of Regents defeases some University of Arizona COPs

Kansas City, Kan., July 9 - The Arizona Board of Regents announced the defeasance of series 2003A, 2003B and 2004A University of Arizona projects certificates of participation.

The board defeased $9.73 million of series 2003A certificates, $118.47 million of series 2003B certificates and $16,285,000 series 2004A certificates.

The series 2003 bonds will be redeemed June 1, 2013 and the series 2004 bonds will be redeemed June 1, 2014, all at par.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the agent.
