Richmond County, Ga., authority calls portion of 2008 MCG Health bonds

Madison, Wis., June 29 - The Development Authority of Richmond County, Ga., will redeem portions of its series 2008A and 2008B variable-rate MCG Health, Inc. Project revenue bonds on July 1, according to notices.

Affected are $2,105,000 of the $82,965,000 outstanding 2008A bonds and $1.23 million of the $48.81 million outstanding 2008B bonds due July 1, 2037.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The authority previously rescinded its call for the redemption of the 2008 bonds.

The Augusta, Ga.-based authority issues bonds to fund industrial, educational, medical and related projects. MCG is an academic medical center that is also based in Augusta, Ga.
