Long Island Power, N.Y., calls $149 million electric system bonds

Madison, Wis., June 28 - Long Island Power Authority said it will redeem its outstanding series 2003H, 2003J and 2003N electric system general revenue bonds in full on July 2.

The redemption includes $55 million of 2003H bonds due Dec. 1, 2029, $47 million of 2003J bonds due Dec. 1, 2029 and $47 million of 2003N bonds due Dec. 1, 2029.

All three series, totaling $149 million, will be redeemed at par.

The municipal electric provider owns the retail electric transmission and distribution system and provides service to Nassau and Suffolk counties in New York.
