Salt Lake County, Utah, announces defeasance of sales tax bond series

Kansas City, Kan., June 25 - Salt Lake County, Utah, has defeased its series 2004 and 2005 sales tax revenue bonds, according to a notice.

The series 2004 bonds will be redeemed Feb. 1, 2015, and the series 2005 bonds will be redeemed Aug. 1, 2015.

The following series 2004 bonds are affected:

• $760,000 of 4.5% bond no. R-12 due Feb. 1, 2016;

• $795,000 of 4.5% bond no. R-13 due Feb. 1, 2017;

• $835,000 of 4.5% bond no. R-14 due Feb. 1, 2018;

• $875,000 of 4.5% bond no. R-15 due Feb. 1, 2019;

• $915,000 of 4.5% bond no. R-16 due Feb. 1, 2020;

• $955,000 of 5% bond no. R-17 due Feb. 1, 2021;

• $1,005,000 of 5% bond no. R-18 due Feb. 1, 2022;

• $1.06 million of 5% bond no. R-19 due Feb. 2, 2023; and

• $1,115,000 of 5% bond no. R-20 due Feb. 1, 2024.

The following series 2005 bonds are affected:

• $2,925,000 of 5% bond no. R-11 due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $3.05 million of 5% bond no. R-12 due Aug. 1, 2017;

• $3,225,000 of 5% bond no. R-13 due Aug. 1, 2018;

• $3,375,000 of 5% bond no. R-14 due Aug. 1, 2019;

• $3.55 million of 5% bond no. R-15 due Aug. 1, 2020;

• $3,725,000 of 5% bond no. R-16 due Aug. 1, 2021;

• $3.9 million of 5% bond no. R-17 due Aug. 1, 2022;

• $4.1 million of 5% bond no. R-18 due Aug. 1, 2023;

• $4,325,000 of 5% bond no. R-19 due Aug. 1, 2024; and

• $4.55 million of 5% bond no. R-20 due Aug. 1, 2025.
