Clark County, Nev., defeases $53.98 million of G.O. limited-tax bonds

Kansas City, Kan., June 20 - Clark County, Nev., has defeased $53.98 million of its series 2002 general obligation limited-tax bond bank bonds, according to a notice.

Affected are $5,785,000 of bonds due June 1, 2016 and $48,195,000 of bonds due June 1, 2032.

The bonds will be redeemed Dec. 1 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The bonds were originally issued in the amount of $200 million.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the agent.
