Maricopa County Pollution Control, Ariz., rescinds bond redemption

Kansas City, Kan., June 14 - Maricopa County Pollution Control Corp. of Arizona rescinded the redemption of all $59,235,000 of its series 2005 A El Paso Electric Co. Palo Verde Project pollution control refunding revenue bonds due Aug. 1, 2040, according to a notice.

The redemption was subject to the successful issuance of series 2012 A pollution control refunding revenue bonds. Because the issuance will not occur by June 29, the corporation said it will not redeem the bonds on June 29 as planned.
