Hillsborough County, Fla., school board calls COPs from three series

Kansas City, Kan., June 4 - The School Board of Hillsborough County, Fla., will redeem all of its series 2002 and a portion of its 2004C and 2008A certificates of participation, according to a series of notices.

The certificates will be redeemed July 1 at par, plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The following series 2002 certificates are affected:

• $610,000 4.4% certificates due July 1, 2021;

• $635,000 4.5% certificates due July 1, 2022;

• $665,000 4.5% certificates due July 1, 2023;

• $695,000 4.5% certificates due July 1, 2024;

• $725,000 4.5% certificates due July 1, 2025;

• $760,000 4.5% certificates due July 1, 2026;

• $25 million 4.625% certificates due July 1, 2028; and

• $32.14 million 4.5% certificates due July 1, 2028.

The following series 2004C certificates are affected:

• $1,025,000 of variable-rate certificates due July 1, 2030.

The following series 2008A certificates are affected:

• $40,000 of variable-rate certificates due July 1, 2023.
