Florida Department of Environmental Protection calls two bond series

Kansas City, Kan., June 1 - The Florida Department of Environmental Protection plans to redeem series 2002A and 2002B Florida forever revenue bonds.

The state said it has already defeased the 2002B bonds.

Both series of bonds will be redeemed July 1 at 101, plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The following series 2002A bonds are affected:

• $7,745,000 of 5.375% bonds due July 1, 2013;

• $8.16 million of 5.375% bonds due July 1, 2014;

• $8.6 million of 5.375% bonds due July 1, 2015;

• $9.06 million of 5.375% bonds due July 1, 2016;

• $9.55 million of 5.375% bonds due July 1, 2017;

• $10.06 million of 5.125% bonds due July 1, 2018;

• $10,575,000 of 5.375% bonds due July 1, 2019;

• $11,145,000 of 5.125% bonds due July 1, 2020; and

• $11,715,000 of 5% bonds due July 1, 2021.

The following series 2002B bonds are affected:

• $7.45 million of 4% bonds due July 1, 2013;

• $7,745,000 of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2014;

• $8.15 million of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2015;

• $8.58 million of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2016;

• $9.03 million of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2017;

• $9,505,000 of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2018;

• $10,005,000 of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2019;

• $10.53 million of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2020;

• $11.08 million of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2021; and

• $11,665,000 of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2022.
