Texas calls some water financial assistance bonds from three series

Kansas City, Kan., May 31 - State of Texas said it redeemed portions of its series 1998C, 2001A and 2001C water financial assistance bonds, according to a notice.

Affected are $10.3 million of series 1998C Economically Distressed Areas Program water financial assistance refunding bonds, $5,425,000 of series 2001A Economically Distressed Areas Program water financial assistance bonds and $35.84 million of series 2001C State Participation Program water financial assistance bonds.

All of the bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date

The following series 1998C bonds are affected:

• $1.32 million of 5.25% bonds due Aug. 1, 2012;

• $1,385,000 of 5.375% bonds due Aug. 1, 2013;

• $1,415,000 of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2014;

• $1.48 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $1,495,000 of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $1,565,000 of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2017; and

• $1.64 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2018.

The following 2001A bonds are affected:

• $5,425,000 of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2019.

The following series 2001C bonds are affected:

• $735,000 of 5.125% bonds due Aug. 1, 2021;

• $4.48 million of 5.25% bonds due Aug. 1, 2023;

• $6.69 million of 5.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2026;

• $13.42 million of 5.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2031;

• $10,515,000 of 5.25% bonds due Aug. 1, 2035.
