North Carolina Medical Care to redeem two series of Wake Forest bonds

Kansas City, Kan., May 30 - North Carolina Medical Care Commission plans to redeem all of its series 2008C and 2008D Wake Forest University Health Sciences variable-rate demand health care facilities revenue refunding bonds, according to a notice.

The $29.58 million 2008C bonds and $59,535,000 2008D bonds are due July 1, 2034.

The bonds will be redeemed June 25 at par, plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The Commission will fund the redemption with a draw on its direct-pay letter of credit issued by Bank of America, NA, the notice said.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.
