South Carolina Tobacco Settlement calls $71.7 million 5% bonds in full

Kansas City, Kan., May 17 - South Carolina Tobacco Settlement Revenue Management Authority will redeem all $71.7 million of its 5% series 2008 tobacco settlement asset-backed refunding bonds due June 1, 2018, according to a notice.
The bonds will be redeemed June 1 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the agent.
The organization is based in Columbia, S.C. Its purpose is to issue and secure bonds payable solely from the state's tobacco receipts.
