Plains Exploration to redeem all $79.3 million of 7¾% notes due 2015

Minneapolis, May 15 - Plains Exploration & Production Co. called all $79.3 million of its 7¾% notes due 2015, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be redeemed at 101.938 plus accrued interest on June 15.

Plains Exploration & Production is an independent oil and gas company based in Houston.
