Cascades announces $3 million buyback of 6¾% notes in first quarter

Kansas City, Kan., May 15 - Cascades Inc. repurchased $3 million of its 6¾% senior notes, the company announced in its earnings release for the first quarter.

The repurchase was completed on March 1 at par.

Cascades is a Kingsey Falls, Quebec-based producer, converter and marketer of packaging and tissue products that are composed mainly of recycled fibers.
