Nevada defeases $69.97 million of highway improvement revenue bonds

Kansas City, Kan., May 14 - The State of Nevada has defeased $69,965,000 of its series 2004 motor vehicle fuel tax highway improvement revenue bonds, according to a news release.

The bonds will be redeemed Dec. 1, 2014 at par, plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The following bonds are affected:

• $12,575,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2015;

• $13,255,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2016;

• $13,935,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2017;

• $14,685,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2018; and

• $15,515,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2019.
