Manulife Financial Capital Trust calls C$1 billion capital securities

Minneapolis, May 11 - Manulife Financial Corp. subsidiary Manulife Financial Capital Trust plans to redeem all of its C$60 million series A capital securities and all of its C$940 million series B capital securities, according to a press release.

The securities will be redeemed at C$1,000 plus unpaid yield on June 30.

Manulife is a life insurance company based in Toronto.
