School Board of Lee County, Fla., defeases series 2004A COPs

Kansas City, Kan., May 10 - The School Board of Lee County, Fla., has defeased its series 2004A certificates of participation, according to a notice.

The following bonds are affected and have been refunded in full:

• $10,755,000 of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $475,000 of 3.7% bonds due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $11.49 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $20,000 of 3.8% bonds due Aug. 1, 2017;

• $12.54 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2017;

• $140,000 of 3.9% bonds due Aug. 1, 2018;

• $13.01 million of 4.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2018;

• $4.07 million of 4% bonds due Aug. 1, 2019;

• $15.12 million of 4.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2021;

• $7.77 million of 4.25% bonds due Aug. 1, 2022; and

• $8,705,000 of 4.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2022.

The following bonds were refunded in part:

• $8,405,000 of 4.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2019.

The refunded bonds will be redeemed Feb. 1, 2014.
