Milwaukee defeases five series of G.O. corporate purpose bonds

Kansas City, Kan., May 4 - The City of Milwaukee has defeased five series of its general obligation corporate purpose bonds, according to a notice.

The following bonds are affected:

• $5.75 million of series Y bonds to be redeemed Sept. 1;

• $6,975,000 of series Y bonds to be redeemed Sept. 1;

• $7,195,000 of series 2003 B1 bonds to be redeemed March 15, 2013;

• $20.06 million of series 2004 B1 bonds to be redeemed Feb. 15, 2014;

• $9.66 million of series 2005 B2 bonds to be redeemed Feb. 15, 2015; and

• $8,965,000 of series 2005 B10 bonds to be redeemed Aug. 15, 2015.

All of the bonds will be redeemed at par.
