Buffalo, N.Y., to redeem $14.56 million of its refunding serial bonds

Minneapolis, April 30 - The City of Buffalo, N.Y., called $14.56 million of its refunding serial bonds, series 1998-C and 2001-C, according to two redemption notices.

The following 1998-C bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on June 1:

• $1.05 million of 5.25% bonds due Dec. 1, 2012;

• $1,075,000 of 5.25% bonds due Dec. 1, 2013;

• $1.1 million of 5.25% bonds due Dec. 1, 2014;

• $375,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2015;

• $395,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2016;

• $415,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2017;

• $435,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2018;

• $455,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2019;

• $480,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2020;

• $500,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2021;

• $520,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2022;

• $550,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2023; and

• $575,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2024.

The following 2001-C bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on May 30:

• $790,000 of 4.625% bonds due Dec. 1, 2013;

• $2.82 million of 5.125% bonds due Dec. 1, 2014;

• $1,225,000 of 5.25% bonds due Dec. 1, 2015;

• $455,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2016;

• $455,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2017;

• $450,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2018; and

• $440,000 of 5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2019.
