Illinois Health calls $69.69 million of its Northwestern Medical bonds

Minneapolis, April 23 - Illinois Health Facilities Authority plans to redeem $69,685,000 of its Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation, Inc. revenue refunding bonds, series 1998, according to a redemption notice.

The following bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on May 23:

• $2,685,000 of 5% R-13 bonds due Nov. 15, 2012;

• $2.82 million of 5% R-14 bonds due Nov. 15, 2013;

• $16,365,000 of 5% R-15 bonds due Nov. 15, 2018; and

• $47,815,000 of 5.125% R-16 bonds due Nov. 15, 2028.

Amalgamated Bank of Chicago is the trustee.

The authority is under the Chicago-based Illinois Finance Authority, which provides funding for nonprofit organizations. The Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation is a Chicago-based support system for the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
