Glendale, Ariz., defeases $2.2 million of 2003 water and sewer bonds

Kansas City, Kan., April 17 - The City of Glendale, Ariz., has defeased a portion of its series 2003 subordinated lien water and sewer obligations, according to a notice.

The city refunded $1 million of its 4% bonds due July 1, 2012 and $1.2 million of its 5% bonds due July 1, 2013.

U.S. Bank, NA is the agent.
