Maryland Health defeases series 2001 Greater Baltimore Medical bonds

Kansas City, Kan., April 11 - The Maryland Health and Higher Educational Facilities Authority defeased all of the outstanding series 2001 Greater Baltimore Medical Center revenue bonds, according to a notice.

The bonds will be redeemed July 1 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The series 2001 bonds were originally issued in the amount of $52,830,000.

Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee.
