California calls $3.75 billion power bonds, $842.92 million of G.O.s

Madison, Wis., March 30 - The State of California gave notice that it will redeem $3,754,090,000 of its series 2002A power supply revenue bonds and $842,915,000 of its series 1999, 2000 and 20002 general obligation refunding bonds on May 1.

The issuer plans to redeem the power supply bonds at 101 and the G.O. refunding bonds at par.

The redemption price also includes accrued interest to the redemption date.
