Kansas Development to redeem 2006 Sisters of Charity bonds on April 4

Madison, Wis., March 29 - Kansas Development Finance Authority will redeem in full its outstanding Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System variable-rate demand revenue bonds, series 2006C and 2006D, on April 4, according to revised notices.

The authority previously gave notice that it would redeem the bonds on March 28.

The redemption includes $16,025,000 of 2006C bonds due Dec. 1, 2019 and $60 million of 2006D bonds due Dec. 1, 2031.

Both series will be redeemed at par.

The Topeka, Kan.-based authority helps provide long-term financing for capital projects and programs. Sisters of Charity is a Catholic health care system with facilities in California, Colorado, Kansas and Montana and is based in Leavenworth, Kan.
