Columbus, Ohio, defeases $109.78 million of various purpose G.O.s

Minneapolis, March 21 - The City of Columbus, Ohio, defeased $109.78 million of its various purpose general obligation bonds, according to a notice.

The following bonds will be redeemed on July 1, 2014:

• $5.95 million of series 2004-1 bonds due July 1, 2022;

• $1.66 million of series 2004-1 bonds due July 1, 2023;

• $1.66 million of series 2004-1 bonds due July 1, 2024;

• $1.66 million of series 2004-1 bonds due July 1, 2025;

• $5.08 million of series 2004-2 bonds due July 1, 2022;

• $1,125,000 of series 2004-2 bonds due July 1, 2023;

• $2,125,000 of series 2004-2 bonds due July 1, 2024; and

• $2,125,000 of series 2004-2 bonds due July 1, 2025.

The following bonds will be redeemed on Dec. 15, 2015:

• $13.66 million of 2005D bonds due Dec. 15, 2018;

• $13.65 million of 2005D bonds due Dec. 15, 2019;

• $13.65 million of 2005D bonds due Dec. 15, 2020;

• $13.65 million of 2005D bonds due Dec. 15, 2021;

• $6,545,000 of 2005D bonds due Dec. 15, 2022; and

• $4.94 million of 2005D bonds due Dec. 15, 2023.

The following bonds will be redeemed on Dec. 15, 2016:

• $7,435,000 of 2006A bonds due Dec. 15, 2020;

• $7,435,000 of 2006A bonds due Dec. 15, 2021; and

• $7.43 million of 2006A bonds due Dec. 15, 2022.

The Huntington National Bank is the escrow agent.
