Bill Barrett receives tenders for 85.31% of 5% convertibles due 2028

New York, March 20 - Bill Barrett Corp. announced that it has accepted the tenders for $147,156,000, or 85.31%, of its $172.5 million of 5% convertible senior notes due 2028.

The repurchase offer ended at 9 a.m. ET on March 20.

The company will pay a total purchase price of $147.3 million, including accrued interest.

Deutsche Bank Trust Co. Americas is the paying agent.

Bill Barrett is a Denver-based company that explores for and develops natural gas and oil. It announced plans to call the notes in November.
