California Department of Water Resources redeems Central Valley bonds

Minneapolis, March 15 - The State of California Department of Water Resources defeased $8,355,000 of its Central Valley Project water system revenue bonds, according to a notice from the treasurer of the State of California.

The department will redeem $410,000 of series X bonds, which are due Dec. 1, 2013, at par on Dec. 1, 2012.

The following series AC bonds will be redeemed at par on Dec. 1, 2014:

• $1,485,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2015;

• $1.38 million of bonds due Dec. 1, 2021;

• $1,455,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2022;

• $755,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2023;

• $795,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2024;

• $420,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2025;

• $440,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2026;

• $1,115,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2027;

• $50,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2028; and

• $50,000 of bonds due Dec. 1, 2029.

Following the redemptions, $1,155,000 of the series X bonds and $141.99 million of the series AC bonds will remain outstanding.
