El Paso, Texas, defeases $58.09 million of water and sewer bonds

Kansas City, Kan., March 13 - El Paso, Texas, said it defeased three series of its water and sewer bonds with the issue of series 2012 water and sewer revenue refunding bonds, according to a filing with the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board.

The following bonds were defeased:

• All $3,995,000 of series 2001A water and sewer revenue refunding and improvement bonds due on March 1 in the years 2013 to 2022 and on March 1, 2027;

• All $4.26 million of series 2002 water and sewer revenue bonds due March 1 in the years 2013 to 2022; and

• All $49.83 million of series 2003 water and sewer revenue refunding and improvement bonds due March 1, 2014 to 2028.
