Maryland defeases $70.5 million of transportation facilities bonds

Minneapolis, March 7 - Maryland Transportation Authority defeased $70,495,000 of its transportation facilities projects revenue bonds, series 2004, according to a notice.
The following bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on July 1, 2014:
• $3.62 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2016;
• $3.8 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2017;
• $3.99 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2018;
• $4.19 million of 4.5% bonds due July 1, 2019;
• $4.38 million of 4.6% bonds due July 1, 2020;
• $4.58 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2021;
• $4.81 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2022;
• $5.05 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2023;
• $5,305,000 of 5% bonds due July 1, 2024;
• $5.57 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2025;
• $5,845,000 of 5% bonds due July 1, 2026;
• $6.14 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2027;
• $6,445,000 of 5% bonds due July 1, 2028; and
• $6.77 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2029.
The Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee.
